Video: Portable Sparks Outrage Over Vulgar Remarks About ‘Auntie’ Laide Bakare
By Benjamin Abioye

Controversial musician, Portable has reignited his bitter feud with actress Laide Bakare, making vulgar claims that drew widespread backlash.
Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, widely known as Portable, has stirred up another storm online by reigniting his long-standing feud with Nollywood actress Laide Bakare.
In a new video, the singer openly expressed his controversial desire to sleep with the actress and gave reasons for his repeated online attacks against her.
In the video clip, Portable first referred to her as “Aunty Laide” but later dropped the honorific, saying, “Why I still dey call you Aunty?” He then boldly stated, “I go sleep with you,” suggesting that her marital status had changed and therefore gave him reason to speak freely.
Portable also accused Laide Bakare of inviting him to perform at an event without offering any payment. He mocked her claim to being a celebrity and said she could not afford to cover his performance cost. “You say you be celebrity, you no fit pay artist?” he said.
He continued his outburst by insulting her wealth, claiming that her lack of money was one of the main reasons he could not stop calling her out. According to Portable, the actress first provoked him by making insensitive remarks about Nigerians who traveled to Libya, describing them as “call girls.” He stated, “Na you first talk say Libya girls na ashawo, if you no talk that thing, I no go drag you.”
This latest outburst from the singer follows an earlier public statement made by Laide Bakare during an interview, where she described Portable as “a dirty boy from Sango” and denied ever meeting him. She also rejected claims that she attempted to make him perform at her event for free, saying she changed her mind after trying to contact him.
Fans on social media were quick to react to Portable’s latest video.

Despite the backlash, Portable appeared unbothered and continued to make bold and offensive statements in the video.
This isn’t the first time the singer has caused controversy online. In a related episode, he recently called out fellow artist Odumodu Blvck, disputing claims that Odumodu is the best rapper in Abuja. Portable argued that he had once outperformed him and deserved more recognition.
The feud between Portable and Laide Bakare shows no sign of slowing down, and the singer’s provocative remarks have once again placed him at the center of public outrage and debate.
