Reality TV star and Big Brother Naija winner, Phyna, has publicly criticized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over his recent visit to the Yelewata community in Benue State, where over 200 people were reportedly massacred in a brutal attack by suspected herdsmen.

Reacting to viral photos and videos of President Tinubu’s condolence visit where he was seen standing on a red carpet while reportedly meeting with survivors, Phyna expressed outrage, claiming the narrative of survivors being treated in the hospital was misleading.

“There were no victims in Yelewata,” she wrote in a now-viral post on X. “They were all killed and burnt alive. Who are those in the hospital that the President went to visit, standing on a red rug?”

She went on to accuse the President of turning the visit into a media stunt. “@officialABAT why are you doing a photoshoot to make us angrier? Nigeria has failed us 💔,” she added.
