Davido Ibiza Kill

Davido’s claim that security guards at an Ibiza nightclub tried to kill him has sparked a wave of mixed reactions on social media.

Nigerian music star Davido stirred controversy early Sunday morning after alleging that security personnel at Hi Ibiza nightclub attempted to kill him and his team during an altercation. He made the claim via his Instagram Story, writing:

“@Hiibizaofficial security just tried to kill me and my team!!!”
“All of yall goin down!!!”

The Afrobeats singer, currently vacationing in Ibiza with his manager Asa Asika and friend Cubana Chiefpriest, shared images of some of the club’s bouncers, calling for justice. However, the response on social media was swift—and deeply divided.

Some users questioned the timing of the incident, suggesting it was a deliberate attempt to overshadow fellow superstar Wizkid’s major show in the U.S.
“He knows today is Wizkid’s show, he just looking for a way to drag the attention to himself. He knows what he is doing,” said @CallMeSiri93.
@RIDDOX4reall added, “He intentionally wants to divide the attention everyone would be giving to Wizkid today with his big show in US ni😏”.

Others criticized Davido’s public behavior abroad, calling it reckless and attention-seeking.
“U go person country begin jump as frog u think say na Nigeria abi,” @Sexybrown777 wrote, urging Davido to “change your crew members waka with better people”.
@Notoriousfx16 simply laughed it off: “lol them no send you for there 😂😂😂”.

A few users, however, showed concern for the singer’s safety.
“This people wan dey rough handle my fave. May there mind dey ooh,” wrote @Chikao1Okafor.
@calmeTimi directly tagged the nightclub, warning: “@hiibizaofficial nothing must do Davido oh.”

But skepticism persisted among many commenters who questioned the lack of proof.
“Show us full video bros wetin you and your team do,” said @playmaker_j.
@CooCooBgal asked plainly, “Where’s the proof?”

Some also reminded the artist of past controversies.
“Says person wey don threaten one club owner say him go kee him,” tweeted @TOlasunbo8151.
And @stvrboybrainz warned, “This guy is slowly killin his career unknowingly.”

The incident has reignited discussions around celebrity conduct abroad, security interactions, and fan loyalty. While Davido has not released further details, many await clearer footage or statements from the club involved.

For now, the drama continues online—with Davido at the center and fans choosing sides.
