Video: Cynthia Morgan Leaves Music For Her Spiritual Calling
By Benjamin Abioye

Nigerian singer Cynthia Morgan has officially announced that she has left the music industry for good.
According to her, she is now fully focused on ministry and real estate.
The announcement came through a video she posted on social media. It followed another video, released a day earlier, where she appeared emotional and teary-eyed—raising concerns among her fans. She later explained that the emotional video was not recent and thanked everyone who reached out to her.
Cynthia made it clear that returning to music was no longer part of her plans.
“There is no going back to music. I’m now into ministry and real estate,” she said.
The singer, who hails from Edo State, first rose to fame in 2013 when she signed with Northside Entertainment, a record label owned by Jude Okoye. During that time, she released several hit songs, including “Don’t Break My Heart” and “Lead Me On”, the latter earning her a nomination at The Headies.
However, her career hit a rough patch after a dispute with the label. In 2020, Cynthia revealed that she lost her stage name, her earnings, her VEVO channel, and even her Instagram account due to the terms of her contract. Her story drew public sympathy, and many Nigerians, including singer Davido, offered support.
Despite making efforts to stage a comeback, Cynthia later took a spiritual turn. She began sharing prophetic messages online. In 2023, she made headlines for claiming to have predicted Funke Akindele’s rise in politics and also warned about Wizkid’s health.
Now 33 years old, she says she’s fully committed to this new phase of her life.
“I’ve moved on,” she added, emphasizing that her time in the music industry is truly over.
She also mentioned her growing interest in real estate, although she didn’t go into specifics about her investments.
