PDP NEC Confirms Return Of Senator Anyanwu As Scribe

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has officially reinstated Senator Samuel Anyanwu as the party’s National Secretary.

The decision was announced on Monday following the party’s 100th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held in Abuja.

Speaking with journalists shortly after the meeting, PDP’s acting National Chairman, Umar Damagum, confirmed that Anyanwu had been restored to his position after months of uncertainty over his status.

Damagum also disclosed that the party has scheduled its 101st NEC meeting for July 23, where critical plans for the party’s forthcoming national convention will be finalized.
