How I Won Kogi PDP Governorship Ticket Using ‘Anointing Oil’ – Melaye

Former Kogi West senator, Dino Melaye, stirred excitement on Wednesday at the high-profile coalition meeting in Abuja as he led attendees in a spirited chant declaring the arrival of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as the new opposition force.

In a video making the rounds on social media, Dino Melaye was seen anchoring the event while singing and chanting “APC comot for road, ADC don come,” to which participants enthusiastically responded.

Watch the video below;

The chant comes just hours after a heavy lineup of political bigwigs including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, Nasir El-Rufai, David Mark, Rauf Aregbesola, John Oyegun, Aminu Tambuwal, and others stormed the Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja for the formal unveiling of the opposition coalition operating under the ADC banner.

The coalition, made up of influential figures from across party lines, is widely seen as a strategic move to unseat the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 elections.

Melaye, known for his dramatic flair and political showmanship, used the moment to rally participants and set the tone for what many observers have described as a major shake-up in Nigeria’s political landscape.

The event, which has drawn national attention, is being closely watched by both local and international observers. With scenes like Melaye’s now-viral chant, it’s clear that the coalition is not just focused on policy, it’s also bringing theatre and momentum into the political arena.
