Outrage As Jealous Ex-Boyfriend Disfigures Young Lady (Photos)

A young South African woman, identified as Desiree Mohau Letsoalo, is battling for her life after she was brutally assaulted by her jealous ex-boyfriend in Mokgoloboto village, Tzaneen, Limpopo Province.

The disturbing incident reportedly occurred on Saturday, October 18, when the suspect, identified as Josias, attacked Desiree with pieces of broken tiles during a violent outburst.

Speaking about the assault, a community activist, Miyelani Ramojela, confirmed on Wednesday, October 22, that the victim is currently receiving medical treatment at Letaba Hospital.

“She sustained serious injuries after being attacked by her ex-boyfriend. The community is deeply saddened and angered by what happened,” Ramojela said.

Desiree’s sister has also spoken out, pleading with authorities to ensure justice is served swiftly.

Authorities have confirmed that the suspect has been arrested and is expected to appear before the Ritavi Magistrate Court in Nkowankowa next Thursday.
