Man Colos Jump Building

A young man has stirred public concern after allegedly taking a hard substance known locally as “Colorado” or “Colos” and attempting to climb out through the window of his room on the top floor of a two-storey building.

In a clip later shared on X, the unidentified man was seen intoxicated, screaming as he struggled to come down through the window, with half of his body already hanging outside. Alarmed residents could be heard urging others to hold him to prevent a tragic fall, while the person recording the scene repeatedly asked, “Who give am Colos?”

The footage has since triggered a wave of online reactions, with many expressing disbelief, frustration and even humour over the incident.

@astroboyphoton reacted in shock, “JESUS goosebumps just catch me now, this guy for just die!! All in the name of getting high and drugs GOD forbid!”

@EchoOpulen69052 simply asked, “What’s going on, I don’t understand.”

While some mocked the incident, others raised concerns about the rising use of hard drugs among young Nigerians. Several users urged authorities to intensify campaigns against narcotics and called for stricter enforcement of laws controlling access to such substances.

As of press time, there has been no official statement on the identity or condition of the young man, nor any confirmation on whether emergency services were alerted.

The incident has renewed conversations around substance abuse, mental health, and the growing trend of young people experimenting with dangerous drugs despite repeated warnings.
