Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has announced a worldwide prayer program for single people, waiting mothers, and families believing God for children and marriage blessings.

A statement by Pastor Oladele Balogun, the Special Assistant to the General Overseer on Administration, explained that the prayer meeting came through divine direction.

The prayer is meant to support the rising number of unmarried adults and families who are still trusting God for children.

Adeboye noted that population records show that more than 40 per cent of adults in Nigeria are single or mature singles.

He described them as a “vibrant but waiting generation” who are looking to God for help in marriage and family matters.

Adeboye also spoke about the challenges that waiting mothers face around the world.

He said many people are still believing God for children, calling the experience a “deeply spiritual and emotional journey” that needs prayer, strong faith, and patience.

With RCCG spread across over 190 countries, he said these groups remain a big part of the church family, holding on to hope and trust in God.

The special prayer will hold during the church’s November 2025 Thanksgiving Service at the RCCG National Headquarters, The Throne of Grace, in Ebute-Metta, Lagos.

The program will take place on Sunday, November 2, at 8:00 a.m.

Adeboye encouraged people living near Lagos to attend physically. He also urged those in other parts of the world to join online, describing the event as “a life-changing encounter with God.”
