A brief moment of tension played out at Davido’s recent concert in Yola, Adamawa State, after the DJ suddenly switched to a Wizkid track, prompting mixed reactions from the crowd and sparking a heated conversation online.
Witnesses said the atmosphere shifted as soon as the music changed, with part of the audience waving hands and requesting the DJ to stop the soundtrack. Some attendees shouted in frustration while others laughed at the confusion.
Footage that circulated later showed excited fans calling for the track to be cut while some people danced regardless, creating a divided response at the venue.
As the clip spread online, social media users weighed in, reflecting the ongoing rivalry narrative between fans of both music stars.
