Husband Makes Me Feel Like A Slave, Mom Of 3 Beaten Up While Going To Church Cries Out (Video)

A mother of three, identified as Chidinma Happiness, has accused her husband of brutally assaulting her after she attempted to attend church on Sunday, November 2, 2025.

In a video making rounds on social media, Chidinma, who appeared visibly injured, alleged that her husband attacked her because she refused to carry out additional chores before leaving for service.

According to her, she had already completed most of the housework including reheating food, washing the dishes, and preparing the children before getting herself ready for church. However, she said her husband insisted that she could not leave the house unless she swept both the compound and the living room.

“I told him I had done everything and would sweep when I got back from church,” she recounted tearfully. “But he refused and started beating me. I tried to explain, but he wouldn’t listen. I’ve been doing everything alone without help. I’m tired of this marriage.”

Chidinma revealed that the assault escalated to the point where she had to flee the house with her first son and daughter, leaving her second son behind in the chaos.

She further alleged that as she was escaping, she saw her husband destroying her belongings, including a new LED light gifted to her by her brother.
