Regina Daniels Under Fire After Claiming She Fell In Love With Ned Nwoko Before Marriage

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has come under intense criticism on social media after she publicly addressed the controversy surrounding her marriage to billionaire politician Ned Nwoko, amid the arrest of her elder brother, Sammy West.

The actress, who has been trending over her marital crisis, shared an emotional video on her Instagram page where she spoke about her strained relationship with Nwoko and pleaded for justice for her detained brother.

In the video, Regina insisted that her marriage to the Delta-born senator was built on love rather than financial gain. She also appealed to Nigerians to stop dragging her mother into her marital issues, saying her mother only wanted the best for her.

However, her comments didn’t sit well with many netizens who took to X (formerly Twitter) to mock her statement. Some users accused her of trying to play the victim, while others questioned how love could have been the motive behind marrying a man old enough to be her father.
