Damola Olatunji Granted Bail Following Arrest By Police

Popular Yoruba movie actor Damola Olatunji has been granted bail, following his arrest over the alleged assault of police officers.

Recall that on Monday, December 20, the Osun thespian had confronted a group of police officers who allegedly hara*sed, assaulted and extorted his PA and a bikeman in the Abule-Egba axis of the state.

According to reports, Olatunji was charged at the Ogba Magistrate court for alleged public incitement and a*sault of police officers.

Following his release on Tuesday, multiple social media users condemned his arrest in the first place, decrying that the thespian committed no crime.

Some wondered what would have happened to him if he wasn’t a celebrity.
