Woman Seen Casually Carrying Lion Pet In Kuwait

A jaw-dropping video showing a woman carrying a lion in her arms on a Kuwait street after the animal escaped from home has gone viral.

The video shows the young woman casually carrying the lion while it kicks about like a baby in an area identified as the Sabahiya district of Kuwait.

According to officials, the lion escaped, and some environmental officers helped capture and return the pet back to its owners, the unidentified lady and her father.

In the Arab world, owning exotic pets such as lions is legal and is seen as a status symbol. With numerous figures from the region known for flaunting their “pets” on social media.

Exotic animals, including lions, are legal to be kept as pets in Kuwait.
