Again, Gunmen Attack Katsina, Kill Two

Gunmen have attacked Makurdi, a community in Bakori Local Government Area of Katsina State.

It was gathered that the gunmen killed two persons and abducted a woman and her two children in the attack that occurred around 10 pm.

A resident of the community said that “they started their operations in the community from the resident of Alhaji Magaji Mallaha Makurdi, a businessman who specializes in supplying farm products to companies.

“They later killed him while shooting sporadically inside his compound, before they left with his wife, two children and phone.”

The bandits also killed a health worker identified as ‘ZaharaDini’ in the community.

He was returning to his Makurdi residence after hanging out at a friend’s barbing salon before he was killed.

As at the time of filing this report, the State Police spokesman, SP Isah Gambo could not be reached for comments.
