Amaechi Urges Nigerians To Send Him Emails On His Performance As Minister

The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has asked Nigerians to provide feedback on his performance as minister.

Amaechi who made the request in a statement personally signed by him said Nigerians can reach out to him through his email, chibuikeamaechi128@gmail.com.

Amaechi said ”he is taking the step to enable Nigerians to appraise his ministry’s performance since November 2015, when he assumed office following his appointment by President Muhammadu Buhari.”

”I have remained committed to the mandate of the ministry to revamp the dilapidated railway and moribund maritime sector, which are key means of transportation and a major source of revenue for the nation.

”However, we understand the need for appraisal and so desire to know from the citizenry how we have fared, being that we are accountable to you. Your feedback on the performance of the ministry is important to us. We desire to know where you feel we have succeeded or are succeeding, where we should improve, and or where you feel we are failing or have failed.”

He said he was grateful to President Buhari for the opportunity given to him to serve as the Minister of Transportation.
