Reactions As Olamide Hints At Retiring After 12th Album

Popular Nigerian artiste Olamide Adedeji aka Baddo has hinted at retiring after over a decade on the music scene and dropping his 12th album.

Olamide made this known in a tweet even as his fans are yearning for a new album from the father of three.

The rapper also refused to disclose the release date for his 12th album.

He simply said:

The YBNL boss also acknowledged his success saying, “it’s been a mad ass run! giving albums back to back.

Veteran rapper, M.I Abaga in response to Olamide’s tweet about retiring early said he is happy Olamide is finally getting his flowers.

M.I revealed that Olamide has had an amazing year and if he wants to retire, he is free to do so.

Other fans also expressed disappointment at Olamide’s plans of retiring while the rest wished him well.

Meanwhile in another development, Anambra State has been reported to have topped the list of states where married women use traditional contraceptives to control childbirth with Yobe having the lowest figure at 0.3 per cent.

The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) made the disclosure in its Demographic Statistics for 2020 posted on its website on Sunday in Abuja.

The statistics show that 98.1 per cent of married women in Yobe did not use any contraceptive in the year under review.

It categorised the birth controls into traditional contraceptives method, modern method and those not currently using any contraceptive at all.
