Yahaya Bello: Nnamdi Kanu Dragged In As Nigerians Take Sides On Abiola Daughters Fight

IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has been dragged into the fight by several Nigerians into the melee arising from Arise Television anchor, Tundun Abiola’s chastisement of her sister, HafsAbiola for comparing their father to Governor Yahaha Bello.
GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that Hafsat Abiola who is the director general of the Yahaya Bello Presidential Campaign Organisation had on Sunday compared the Kogi governor to her father.
Tundun Abiola had in a fit of rage to the comparison had chastised her sister on the Arise Morning Show for the supposed effrontery saying that the Abiola name was not one that belonged to her alone and should not be muddied.
The fight between the two sisters has now gotten to social media with supporters of the two sisters taking one another.
While some backed Tundun on the basis of the alleged inappropriateness of comparing MKO Abiola, a democracy icon with Yahaya Bello, others chastised her for also supposedly diminishing the Abiola legacy by previously comparing him to Nnamdi Kanu.

Isn’t it also false equivalence when the same Tundun drew a comparison between her father and Nnamdi Kanu? Or is her father’s name hers to use exclusively as she likes? Who exactly died and made her watchman over her father’s name and legacies?

It was empty & strongly reeked of jealousy & sibling rivalry. I had never seen nor heard her sister, Hasfat until today. But after watching her interview, I found a far more intelligent, eloquent, calculated & enlightened lady than Tundun who’s fake, unintelligent & ignorant.

Still on Hafsat Abiola as DG of Yahaya Bello campaign, where she compared Bello with MKO Abiola, I find this response by Tundun Abiola of AriseTV very brilliant. The MKO Abiola name is a family legacy & no individual, child or not, should be allowed to soil it for selfish gains.

The real question should be who amongst Abiola’s children really knew who and what their father stood for? Probably non cause they were all children too young to know the ways of the world. So for all we know they coukd all be misrepresenting the Abiola name.

Tundun’s impressive eloquence and brilliance make her a delight to listen to any day. It was painful to watch Hafast’s interview and I couldn’t get through a few minutes of it. Tundun is right; whereas MKO’s “Hope” is a stalemated dream,Yahaya’s at best a simple fleeting thought.
