Supporters Exuberant As Tinubu Victory In APC Primary Nears Acclamation

Supporters of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu were on Wednesday morning in exuberant mood as the counting of votes from the All Progressives Congress, APC presidential primaries continued at the Eagles Square convention ground with victory almost unassailable.
The Tinubu supporters were in joyful mood in reflection of the sequence of votes which showed their man prevailing with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and Rotimi Amaechi in distant pursuit.
With more than half of the votes counted, GreenWhiteGreen GWG is projecting Tinubu to emerge a clear winner of the presidential primaries.
Before voting commenced, Tinubu had gotten the endorsement of six fellow aspirants.
The six who stepped down for him were Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State; Senator Godswill Akpabio; Professor Ajayi Borroffice; Mr Dimeji Bankole; Senator Ibikunle Amosun; and Mrs Uju Ohanenye.
Reflective of the repeated votes going his way, supporters of the former Lagos Governor were quick to sing the song popular with Tinubu “On your mandate we shall stand.”
Meanwhile, Tinubu is yet to return to the convention ground and is believed to be taking a rest after the long night of deep political intrigues.
Tinubu is expected to return anytime soon to acknowledge his victory and give a speech to the APC faithful.
