Star Actress Says She Passed Out During Morning Sex, Revived In Hospital

Popular American actress, dancer and television host, Kelly Maria Ripa has shocked her fans of how she passed out and landed in hospital in the course of a morning sex with her husband, Mark Consuelos.

The All My Children actress whose net income per month is presently estimated at $1 million per month made the revelations in her upcoming memoir, Live Wire: Long-Winded Short Stories.

In an excerpt that featured in Haute Living, the ‘Live With Kelly and Ryan’ co-host made the revelation of her sex to hospital incident in a chapter of the memoir titled “Don’t Let Your Husband Pick Your Death Clothes.”

The incident which happened just a year after her 1996 marriage to fellow movie star, Consuelos and just when her son, Michael was six months old.

According to her, she was in the middle of morning sex with Consuelos when, she passed out. She was to add, however, that it was not on account of Consuelos’ sexual prowess but because of two large cysts growing on her ovaries.

According to Kelly Ripa, next was that she found herself waking up in the hospital from her bedroom with husband, Consuelos sitting as if non concerned and munching on snacks.

“My eyes shift between the fuzzy images on the screen, the remnants of my ovarian tormentor, and Mark happily snacking away,” Kelly Ripa wrote.

“Sex can be so traumatic I think, and yet one of us is completely undaunted. There he is, happily munching on the saltines now and ordering a second apple juice. Mark could be at a movie, or a spa. Instead, I’m flat on my back wondering when the other two cysts will burst.”

Kelly Ripa was to add that what embarrassed her was that she ended up in hospital looking like, a “dime store prostitute.”

The book revealed that as Kelly Ripa passed out that her husband hastily dressed her in a 1980s-style French-cut leotard and one of his oversized Juventus warm-up pants with side snaps.

“Here is my husband, who is, dare I say, stylish, well-dressed at all times, and yet he dressed me like a dime store prostitute in my time of need,” Ripa writes in the book. “It’s still baffling to me to this day that this is the best costume for the day that he could find for me, to the point where, when I was on the stretcher, I thought I was dreaming; I was having a nightmare. I didn’t realize I had come to.”
