Breaking: Court Stops Obi Supporters From Lekki, Lagos Rally

A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has ordered supporters of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi not to converge at the Lekki Toll Gate on October 1 for their proposed march.

GWG.NG reports that the supporters of the Labour Party candidate have been holding rallies across the country to flaunt what they claim as their structure.

The most formidable of the rallies was the Abuja rally last weekend. This news website had reported how a newly married couple abandoned their wedding procession to join the rally of the Obidients.

GWG.NG reports that the court order came on a day that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC formally flagged off campaigns for the presidential and National Assembly elections.
