Hours After Celebrating His Birthday, Desola Announces Divorce From Star Actor Kunle Afod

Popular Yoruba actor, Kunle Afod and his wife, Desola, are set to be divorced, the estranged wife announced on Tuesday morning on Instagram a day after she celebrated him on his birthday as daddy and father of her children.

“The good news you want to hear,” she wrote. “I abandoned Kunle Afod.”

On Monday, Desola celebrated Kunle’s birthday by praying for him and he was referred to as the father of their four children by her.

“Happy Birthday Daddy Omiayo, Desire, Imodola, Yiyenitemi,” she wrote in honour of the actor. God bless you on your special day and always.”

GWG.NG reports that she had previously unfollowed him on Instagram.

Desola caused quite a stir on social media in 2018 when she claimed that actresses would not let her and her children enjoy her husband.

“For all the actresses and upcoming actresses who have f**ked with Baba Omiayo, I dare you all to be in the same location with him,” the mother of four boys wrote on social media. The relaxed Desola will then appear. “Only because I’ve been quiet.”

The actor had remained silent about his wife’s allegations, insisting that his marriage was fine.

Desola and Kunle are the parents of four sons.

However, prior to his marriage to Desola, the actor had a daughter with an ex-lover.
