Why I Rejected N20m From Politician – Ashmusy
Popular skitmaker, Amarachi Amusi, who is widely known as Ashmusy, has recently revealed why she rejected a mouth-watering offer of between 10 to 20 million naira to post for a certain politician.
The social media influencer shared her reason during a recent interview, stating that she refused the offer because it would have meant selling her soul to the devil.
Although the offer was tempting, Ashmusy knew that accepting the deal would have meant grave consequences for her family, children, and grandchildren.
She realized that posting in support of the wrong political candidate could cause untold suffering for her loved ones, and she was not willing to put them in harm’s way. Thus, she made the tough decision to decline the offer and uphold her values.
Speaking further on why she rejected the offer from the politician, Ashmusy pointed out that even the wealthy in the country are currently struggling to make ends meet.
She questioned the logic behind making so much money in naira, only for it to be devalued continuously, making it practically worthless. According to her, the economic situation in Nigeria is dire, and everyone is feeling the brunt of it.
