Socialite Toyin Lawani Under Fire Over Snake Themed Photoshoot
Popular socialite and fashion entrepreneur, Toyin Lawani popularly known as Tiannah has come under fire from her fans for a snake themed photoshoot she posted on her Instagram page to celebrate her 41st birthday.
The photoshoot shows Lawani dressed in a snake-like outfit with a snake wrapped around her body.
She captioned the post “try me and you will get it”, which did not sit well with one of her fans.
The fan took to the comment section to express their displeasure, asking where Lawani gets all these “demonic fashion” from.
This comment sparked a series of reactions from other fans, with many agreeing that the outfit was inappropriate and not suitable for a birthday photoshoot.
Lawani is known for her bold and unconventional fashion choices, which often push the boundaries of what is considered acceptable in Nigerian society. However, this latest photoshoot seems to have crossed a line for many of her fans.
In March 2021, she was attacked on social media over an outfit she wore to the premiere of ‘Prophetess‘, a movie by Niyi Akinmolayan.
Toyin shared pictures on her Instagram account where she wore a racy nun outfit with a double slit on the sides running waist down to reveal her thighs.
This development sparked reactions as many social media users appeared unhappy with Toyin’s idea of a Catholic-themed fashion wear, and took to their social media accounts to berate her.
In a lengthy Instagram post, Lawani stated she won’t apologise over her raunchy nun outfit.
