Go To Court, Nigerians Make Humour Out Of Super Eagles Defeat In Abuja
By GWG Football Editor
Nigerians are mocking the Super Eagles after the shocking 1-0 loss to Guinea Bissau playing on the political drama in the country in telling them to go to court if not comfortable with the outcome of the match.
Nigeria lost 1-0 to the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau in the first leg of the AFCON double cracker in Abuja when the visitors ranked 161 in the world protected a 29th minute goal to claim all three points to go top of Group A.
GWG.ng reports that following the drama that shadowed the 2023 General Election with some political actors in connivance with the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC supervising rigging and telling critics to go to court, that the same taunt was used to shade the Super Eagles.
Nigerians who took to twitter to mock the Super Eagles and their underachieving manager tweeted thus:
@ChukwujiUchenna: Our super eagle should go to court if they are not satisfied with the result
@Nsukka_demon: Hahahaha if Super Eagles no believe let them go to court 😂😂😂… we need you in the Ucl Abeg
