46-Year-Old American Mom Gets Conditions To Marry 23-Year-Old Kano School Leaver

The quest by 46-year-old American mother of two, Deslky Sanchez to marry 23-year-old Kano secondary school leaver, Sulaiman Panshekara has to pass through four tests to be approved by the young man’s father it has emerged.

Ms. Sanchez who arrived Kano from the United States last week had set tongues wagging with her desire to marry a young man that could well have been her son.

The oddity nonetheless, Ms. Sanchez has been welcomed by the family of her groom who, but for one family member have been all over her.

The exception has been the young man’s father, a retired policeman who has laid down four conditions for the American lady to take his son away to America for a new life.

Isa Panshekara, a retired security officer, has tabled a security clearance from the State Security Services, SSS, as the first condition before the marriage before his son and Ms. Sanchez would proceed.

Second, Ms Sanchez must ensure that Sulaiman continues with his education when he gets to the United States.

Third, his son must maintain his adherence to the Islamic Religion. He said: “I want him to further his education and maintain his religion. No problem, maybe she may become a Muslim too.”

Fourth, Ms Sanchez would have to produce a written document of consent from her parents or relations, as Muslims are not allowed to marry a woman on her own.

Ms Sanchez who is expected to travel back to the United States in the next one week is returning in March for the solemnization of the relationship and following which she would go back to the States with her husband.
