“Video With No Nudity”, Spyro Says As Who’s Your Guy Hits 10 Million Views
Nigerian Singer, Spyro, has expressed his surprise and gratitude at the success of his hit song “Who’s Your Guy” which recently reached 10 million views on YouTube.
The singer, who is known for his clean and family-friendly music, said he was shocked that a video with no twerks or nudity could amass such a large following.
In a statement released on his social media page, Spyro attributed the success of the song to the grace of God.
He wrote, “10 MILLION VIEWS in 3 weeks without any form of ads whatsoever JESUS BE FLEXING ON DEM. A video with no twerks, no nudity. FELLOW artistes I put it to you that it can be done clean yet still sell. Don’t be deceived.”
Spyro also used the opportunity to encourage his fellow artists to create clean and decent content, saying that it is possible to be successful without resorting to vulgar or explicit material.
He added, “I also happen to be one of the most booked artistes in the country at the moment and this is not to show off but to make it clear that you can be decent and still RULE.”
Spyro’s success is a testament to the fact that clean and decent music can still sell in today’s industry. It also proves that artists do not necessarily need to rely on vulgar content to achieve commercial success.
