Kyari Vs Monguno: Omokri Suggests Devil’s Alternative For Buhari As Nigerians React

Mixed reactions have continued to trail the insinuations that Abba Kyari, Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhair, has overwhelming influence on the decisions of the President, especially on issues of national insecurity as implied in the recently revealed missive from the National Security Adviser, Brig. Gen. Babagana Monguno.
In the memo signed by Monguno, he accussed Kyari of undue interference on national security matters, stressing that the Chief of Staff issues directives to the service chiefs without the prior knowledge or approval of the President.
This development has generated divided opinions, on social media with some alleging that that was exactly the reason the country is facing its challenges.
One of the most provoking commentaries, however, came from former presidential aide, Reno Omokri who served in the Jonathan administration as he said that the development was an opportunity for the president to show he was in charge by sacking either of the two combatants.
Writing on his handle, Omokri, one of the most prominent critics of the Buhari administration said:
Some Twitter users who reacted to the development lambasted Kyari for indirectly taking over the roles of the President, while others argued on the unfettered influence of the Chief of Staff on Buhari, and the ineptitude of the President.
