‘Enemies’ Mock Naira Marley With OldVideo Rolling Joint Days After Meeting NDLEA’s Bawa

Renowned rapper Naira Marley has reportedly been captured on camera rolling a joint at a club, sparking controversy just days after he publicly endorsed the NDLEA campaign against drug abuse.

GWG,ng, however, gathered that the video was an old shot taken about three months before his recent vows at the NDLEA.

The Marlian Music executive was recently invited to the NDLEA office, where he met with the agency’s chairman, Buba Marwa, and expressed his support for their anti-drug campaign. However, this move didn’t sit well with certain segments of the Nigerian public.

However, a video circulating online appears to show the singer engaging in the very activity he has been advocating against. One social media user, @olamideOfficial, shared the video with the caption:

“Naira Marley, NDLEA ambassador seen in the club smoking 😂”

GWG.ng reports that the report of the controversial singer being adopted as an ambassador to promote the campaign against drug abuse had generated much controversy as some felt that he was the least qualified for the duty.

However, those who supported him felt that there was nobody better than somebody who is reckoned to have abused drugs before to be the NDLEA ambassador, but the videos of Naira Marley allegedly abusing drugs is one that is bound to make everyone involved think again.
