APC election shift

Allies of the embattled national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC Comrade Adams Oshiomhole have called on President Muhammadu Buhari and the national leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to mediate the unfolding crisis in the party.

The leaders led by Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu and a former commissioner for justice in the state, Henry Idaghabon spoke at a press conference in Benin.

They spoke in response to the developments in the national leadership of the party that led to the suspension of Oshiomhole by a court order.

That order has also been reversed by a court of co-ordinate jurisdiction in Kano.

“I want to make an appeal to the National Leader of the party, President Muhammadu Buhari and our National Leader Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu that we the APC members in Edo state we have suffered for too long under the dictatorship of ‘Major General’ Godwin Obaseki,” Idahagbon said on Friday.

“The National Leaders should not wait for all of us to be crushed before they come to our aide.  We are preparing for election and we have aspirants that can win the election and manage the party.”
