Campaign Against Burying Mohbad In Ikorodu Launched

A Nigerian man has voiced strong opposition to the idea of burying the late Nigerian singer, Mohbad, for the second time in Ikorodu, his hometown.

In a video shared, he passionately urged against laying Mohbad to rest in Ikorodu following the completion of the autopsy.His plea centers around the need for Mohbad’s fans to unite and raise funds for a dignified burial in a proper burial ground.This appeal comes in response to the previous exhumation of Mohbad’s body, which raised concerns about the dignity and respect of the burial process.

He stated, “Listen here, don’t bring back Mohbad’s body to Ikorodu. He doesn’t deserve to be buried in that kind of place. If it’s for fans to contribute N500 each to afford his body being buried at Ikoyi Cemetery, it’s not too much. As for the government, since you exhumed him, we haven’t heard anything. We won’t rest until we get justice.”
