Champions League: UEFA Suspends Matches Involving Juventus, Real Madrid

UEFA has suspended the round of 16 matches between Manchester City vs Real Madrid and Juventus vs Olympique Lyonnais over quarantine imposed on players of Juventus and Real Madrid.
Juventus Defender, Daniele Pugani has already tested positive to Coronavirus.
Real Madrid players were being quarantined as a result of the club basketball player who shares training facilities with the team has been tested positive to the deadly virus.
Sequel to this, La Liga has also suspended “at least the next two rounds of matches” over the quarantine imposed on Real Madrid players.
Announcing the development on the website, UEFA said,
“Following the quarantine imposed on players of Juventus and Real Madrid CF, the following UEFA Champions League matches will not take place as scheduled.
“UEFA Champions League, Round of 16:
Manchester City FC – Real Madrid CF, 17 March, 21:00CET
Juventus – Olympique Lyonnais, 17 March, 21:00CET.
“Further decisions on the two matches will be communicated in due course.”
