Makinde Is 3rd Gov To Test Positive For COVID-19

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has become the third governor to be confirmed as having tested for, COVID-19 the governor confirmed on Monday.

Following the advice that governors who interacted with Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi should self-isolate, Governor Makinde had isolated himself following a test whose result came in on Monday.

Announcing the result of his test on twitter, the governor said:

The second governor who had been confirmed as having tested positive for the virus is Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State.

All governors are presently asymptomatic.
