Veteran Actress Comes Down With COVID-19

Yoruba movie actress and producer, Alhaja Anike Alajogun aka Yeye Oba has become the first prominent figure in Nollywood to become afflicted with COVID-19, it emerged on Tuesday.

Alhaja Alajogun who also owns the popular Mataan Hotel in Ibadan is based in the United Kingdom where she works with the National Health Service, NHS in Manchester.

The prominent socialite according to www.yorubamoviegist.com had in the course of her work reportedly been much engaged in the treatment of COVID-19 patients and may have exposed herself in the course of her work.

She was said to have taken the coronavirus test after she became unwell and the test proved positive.

She was said to have gone into isolation though the website reported that she is improving.
