Delta APC lies PDP

Amidst growing tensions, opposition parties and leaders have come under fire from the All Progressives Congress, APC for allegedly orchestrating mass protests aimed at undermining the government’s authority.

The protests, which erupted simultaneously in major cities like Minna and Kano, have sparked concerns about the country’s stability and security.

GWG.ng reports that the accusation by the All Progressives Congress, APC over the protests follows recent assertions by opposition leaders Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar over the perceived inadequacies of the Bola Tinubu led APC government.

In a strongly worded statement, released on the APC official X handle, Felix Morka, Esq., the National Publicity Secretary, accused opposition forces of manipulating unsuspecting citizens to further their own political agenda through the protests. He emphasized that the protests were not spontaneous but rather part of a calculated effort to sow discord and challenge the government’s legitimacy.

While acknowledging citizens’ right to peaceful assembly, Morka urged caution and vigilance against being misled by the opposition’s divisive tactics. He stressed the government’s unwavering commitment to implementing critical reforms for economic recovery and national development.

Despite the allegations, the opposition parties are yet to respond to the accusations leveled against them by the APC of stimulating the protests. This silence has only fueled tensions as both sides engage in a war of words, with the government standing firm in its assertions and the opposition maintaining a stoic silence.

As the country grapples with these challenges, Nigerians are urged to remain vigilant and prioritize national unity and stability above partisan interests. The government has assured the public that it will take all necessary measures to ensure the safety and security of its citizens while upholding democratic principles and the rule of law
