Lockdown: How Sanwo-Olus Worshipped With Adeboye (Pics)

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has received commendations from far and near for his efforts in managing the COVID-19 situation in Lagos. He has especially been commended for showing leadership and mobilizing the men and resources to combat the scourge in Lagos.

On Sunday he showed leadership by example when he worshipped remotely with the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

As the Incident Commander of the COVID-19 response in Lagos State, Sanwo-Olu had given vent to the presidential order on social distancing which compelled churches not to gather even on Sunday.

For Christians, Sunday April 12 was even more remarkable, it is Easter Sunday, the holiest day in the Christian calendar, being the day that Jesus The Christ rose from the day.

Many churches managed to get around the social gathering restriction by worshipping through broadcast and other online channels.

Mr. and Mrs. Sanwo-Olu also joined millions of adherents of the Redeemed Christian Church of God to worship alongside the general overseer of the church, Pastor Enoch Adeboye through the churches’ Dove Channel.
