Isabella Idibia, the 15-year-old daughter of music legend 2Baba and actress Annie Idibia, has spoken out against the reality show “Young, Famous and African” for its inaccurate portrayal of her parents.

In a live video, Isabella addressed fan questions, including her thoughts on the show, which depicted her mother as a nagging wife enduring her father’s infidelity.

Isabella expressed her disapproval, stating, “The way my parents were portrayed in Young, Famous and African is just so wrong.” She felt frustrated when trying to defend her parents, as people would dismiss her perspective, saying, “How would you know? You’re just a child.” Isabella countered, “I know because I’ve been in the household with my parents. I can’t change everyone’s perspective on social media, but honestly, they wouldn’t know the actual true story of anything in my family.”

Isabella Idibia emphasized that the show’s portrayal of her parents was not only inaccurate but also damaging, saying, “The way my parents were portrayed wasn’t the best image and wasn’t completely accurate.” Isabella’s comments highlight the impact of reality TV on families and the importance of responsible storytelling.
