Former PDP Presidential Aspirant Dumps Party

Cosmos Ndukwe, a former presidential aspirant in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has tendered his resignation from the party.

The resignation of Ndukwe was revealed in a letter directed to the Chairman of the PDP Item C Ward in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State and was also sent to the State Chairman and Acting National Chairman of the party.

Ndukwe clarified that his resignation from the PDP was influenced by personal reasons and contemplation of his current aspirations.

According to him, “After careful consideration, I have come to the conclusion potting out of PDP is the best course of action for me at this time.”

The ex-Deputy Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly expressed his immense gratitude to the leadership of the PDP for the opportunities it afforded him to serve in different capacities.

“I want to express my appreciation to you, the ward executive committee, and all members of the PDP Abia state for the support and camaraderie extended to me throughout my association with the party.

“While i may be stepping away from my formal role, i remain committed to the principles of democracy and the progress of our great state, Abia,” Ndukwe said in his resignation.
