New Questions As Presidency Gives Time For Tinubu’s Return

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, along with his aides,  will return to Nigeria tomorrow, 2024, Wednesday, May 8 from Europe, the presidency said on Tuesday.

Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to the president, Mr Bayo Onanuga made the disclosure in a tweet on Tuesday. His assertion followed much suspense on the whereabouts of President Tinubu with many Nigerians especially worried on where and what the president could have been.

GWG.ng reports that the assertion by the presidential aide follows serial claims that President Tinubu was to return on Tuesday.

The suspense followed the conclusion of the official trip of the president to Saudi Arabia that ended on April 29.

There were reports that following the end of the official engagements in Saudi Arabia that the president proceeded to Europe with reports of him shuttling between Britain and France.

GWG.ng reports that the disclosure by Bayo Onanuga that President Tinubu will return on Wednesday has been welcomed with mixed reactions on social media with different perspectives from varying political interests.

The claim by Bayo Onanuga that Tinubu will return on Wednesday was, however, questioned by some who wondered why he was not specific over the specific country the president will be coming from as he only said that will return from Europe.
