Man Caught With Bomb At Bank In Jos

An unidentified man was reportedly caught attempting to plant a bomb within the premises of a bank in Jos, Plateau State.

According to GWG.ng, the incident occurred on Monday in Dadin Kowa town, Jos South area of the state. The suspect was found with a Person Borne Improvised Explosive Device (PBIED) strapped to his body.

The vigilant security personnel at the bank thwarted the attack after spotting the suspect.

Following this, an angry mob surrounded the suspect, demanding his immediate execution.

It remains unclear whether the suspect has any connections to terrorist organizations in the country.

This incident has led many to call on the government to enhance security measures, particularly in the northern part of the country.
