By Gideon Ayeni
Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has made his first public statement since his arrest by the Lagos State Police Command. The singer was arrested for failing to pay a debt of N14 million owed to a car dealer for a G-Wagon he purchased.
Taking to his Instagram page, Portable shared a message of faith, writing, “God is bigger than everything. Amen if you believe so. God over everything.” This statement comes after his arrest and amidst controversy surrounding his personal life, including a video shared by his third baby mama, Honey Berry, mocking him for refusing to send their son’s feeding allowance.

The incident has sparked a mix of reactions online, with some users praising the car dealer for taking a stand and others criticizing Portable for his actions.
The singer’s statement suggests he is leaning on his faith during this challenging time, and it remains to be seen how this situation will unfold.
