Mr Ebomhiana Musa, media aide to the immediate past deputy governor of Edo State, Comrade Philip Shaibu has formally dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP saying his sojourn in the party was a waste of time and that he was now homesick for his former party, the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Ebomhiana Musa who served as Senior Special Assistant to Shaibu in a letter to the PDP chairman in Ward 5, Etsako Central Local Government Area, Edo State said:

Re: Resignation from Party

I wish to formally inform you of the resignation of my membership of  the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, effective from today, May 17, 2024.

I’m home sick. I want to go back home, the All Progressives Congress, APC, where I truly belong as a progressive democrat.

Recall that as a loyal and ‘obedient servant’, I had to escort my boss, Rt Hon Comrade Philip Shaibu to the PDP in 2020. Politically, I have realised that the sojourn was leading me to no where. So, I’m left with no option than to retrace  my steps.

In all, I must say that my sojourn in PDP was not totally a wasted one, because alot of political lessons have been learnt, especially the behavioural of the average Nigerian politician.

For me, I owe a lot of gratitude to Rt Hon Comrade Philip Shaibu, immediate past Deputy Governor of our dear Edo State. He remains my boss and my admirer. Of course, the one we fondly call COMRADE, Distinguished  Senator Adams Oshiomhole, my political mentor and god father who literarily dragged me into partisan politics.

Yours Faithfully,

Signed: Ebomhiana Sunday Musa.
