Nigerians have taken to the microblogging platform, Twitter, to commemorate Biafra Day marked on May 30 every year with many saying that the issues that led to the war have yet to be addressed.

Nigerians both Igbo and non-Igbo were united in paying honour to the Igbo soldiers who fought under the Biafran banner saying that their quest for justice will not be in vain.

The homage was led by among others popular On Air Personality, OAP, Daddy Freeze who in his reaction lamented that the grievances have not been addressed while those excluded have not been included.

An estimated three million Nigerians mostly Igbo died in the civil war which lasted from 1967 to 1970.
