Flying Eagles-eligible goalkeeper Brian Okonkwo has signed a professional contract with Arsenal FC, just days after his brother Arthur bid farewell to the Emirates.
In an interesting twist, Arsenal parted ways with one Okonkwo only to welcome another. Arthurās younger brother, Brian, has secured his first professional contract with the Gunners, mirroring his brotherās journey. Arthur recently joined AFC Wrexham, owned by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.

The announcement of Brianās new contract was made through Arsenalās official page. Brian expressed his excitement about this significant milestone in his career.
āItās definitely a proud moment for me and my family,ā Brian said. āIāve worked hard over the last few years to achieve this. Itās a step for me to keep pushing to new heights and get more successful moments like this in the future.ā
He continued, āItās really satisfying. The club have trust in me, which is really important, helping me with my confidence. Iāve been here for nearly eight years, so Iāve made a lot of relationships here, and itās one of the best clubs in the world.ā
Arthur, 22, has permanently joined Wrexham in Wales following the end of his contract with Arsenal. Last season, he was on loan at Wrexham from the Premier League giants, where he gained invaluable experience.
