A beauty vendor has come under heavy criticism on social media after alleging that an inmate from Kirikiri Prison ordered products from her store, with many believing she was referring to the well-known social media influencer Bobrisky.

In her now deleted post on Twitter, now known as X, the beauty vendor claimed that the order from the prison inmate was the highlight of her week. She expressed disbelief, questioning why beauty would be a priority for someone in prison. “An inmate of Kirikiri Prison in Nigeria ordering from Beauty Hut is surprisingly the highlight of my week. Like miss ma’am. Beauty shouldn’t be your priority right now?”

GWG.ng reports that Bobrisky, a prominent social media influencer, was arrested in April by the EFCC for abuse of the Naira. He was arraigned before a Lagos court, where he pleaded guilty and requested another chance, promising to use his social media platforms to educate his followers against Naira abuse. Despite his plea, the judge sentenced him to six months at Ikoyi Correctional Center.
