Sowore Rejects Buhari's Apology, Lists His 'Sins'

As Nigerian youths warm up for the ‘End Bad Governance ‘ protest scheduled to begin August 1st, activist and former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore has advised Nigerians on what to do.

Rights activist and convener of the #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protest, Omoyele Sowore, has categorically denied reports that the highly anticipated demonstration scheduled for August 1 has been postponed. In a statement posted on X, Sowore described the claims as “desperate fake announcements” and urged Nigerians to disregard them.

The activist cum politician emphasized that the protest, tagged “End Bad Governance,” will proceed as planned, despite pleas from President Bola Tinubu, state governors, and other influential Nigerians to shelve the demonstration. Sowore’s message was clear: “Please ignore the desperate fake announcement in circulation that #EndBadGovernance Revolt has been postponed. It is false! #nogoingback #DaysOfRage #RevolutionNow.”

With Sowore’s confirmation, insinuations that the protest has been shifted may have now been thrown away setting the prospects of a possible outpouring of youths who are being mobilised by some social activists to protest against bad governance.

Sowore Advises Nigerian Workers on What to do

In another development, Sowore advised Nigerian workers to boycott their various places of work on August 1 and join the planned protest or remain in their various houses. This was posted on his official X handle just few hours to the planned ‘End Bad Governance ‘ protest. See his post below;
