Nigerian singer Portable has reignited his feud with fellow artiste Davido, sparking a new round of drama between the two.

GWG.ng reports that the conflict between Portable and Davido began when Davido declined to feature on a song with Portable. In response, Portable announced on Instagram that he decided to release the song solo, criticizing Davido for his refusal. Portable emphasized that true support comes without conditions and suggested that Davido’s change of heart was a sign of unreliable help.

The feud has its roots in an earlier interaction when Davido had treated Portable to dinner and gifted him a luxury shoe. Despite this, Portable later criticized Davido, accusing him of giving poor advice during their meeting. Portable claimed Davido, who is signed to Sony Music, advised him against signing with Sony and instead suggested he sign with Empire and accept an advance.

Tensions escalated when Davido unfollowed Portable on Instagram, which further fueled Portable’s anger. He suggested that if rival artiste Wizkid had a featured him, he wouldn’t be in this situation. Portable also accused Davido of using him for publicity without providing financial support or a verse.

Additionally, Portable alleged that fellow artiste Zlatan contributed to the friction between him and Davido. Portable claimed that during their time together in Atlanta, Zlatan warned Davido to be cautious around him, leading to further discord.
