Outsourcing Celebrates 30 Years Of Activity In Nigeria

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, (CSR), ICS Outsourcing Nigeria Limited, has laid out plans to award  of scholarship to Indigent Nigerian Students.

Dr Peter Akindeju, Group Managing Director /Chief Executive Officer of ICS outsourcing made the disclosure while answering questions from journalists at a media briefing in Lagos.

He said the scholarship scheme will have beneficiaries from every  part of the country. The scholarship scheme will alleviate the suffering of parents who are finding it difficult to train their children amidst growing economic hardship.

The event was organised to mark the 30th anniversary of the company which has enjoyed robust relationship with its clients the past three decades. Akindeju who believed the feat achieved by the company was made possible by the mercy of God said that having been in business for 30 years, that it was time to give back to the society in form of scholarship and other social responsibilities.

The company, he stressed  will soon commence a training for young graduates and youth corp members. Tagged market readiness, the training according to the ICS boss, was aimed at bridging the gap between the employee and employer. He observed that the difference between what is taught in many  tertiary instructions  in the country and what employers can be tackled by training which the  organisation has  decided to conduct.

Akindeju used the opportunity to enumerate the achievement of the company since its inception.

From a humble background of few clients at inception the company has grown  with more than 200 clients in the country. Akindeju further declared that the coy since it’s inception has been committed to technology and innovation.

He said, “From our humble beginning in Lagos, we have been committed to innovation and technology, empowering organisations to flourish in every evolving business landscape.

“Our dedication to quality, integrity and putting our customers first has cemented our place as a leader in the industry’.

On staff welfare, the Outsourcing Chief Executive said the company remains a force to reckon with. With a comprehensive health benefit to better renumerations, the company has paid over 600m naira as contribution to staff pension funds.

The company, he claimed has created job opportunities to over 70,000 Nigerians since it’s its inception in 1994. “We have created countless job opportunities for Nigerians and have made a positive impact on the communities we serve. The company has employed over 70000 Nigerians from inception till date and still counting.

“We also directly contribute to the economy of each state of the federation by paying PAYE directly to each of the states and the FCT’.

The company  with branches in every geo- political zones of the country has won several awards and commendations from clients and government agencies.

The company plans to cap its 30th anniversary  with gala dinner. The event will not only honour the company’s achievements but reinforce its commitment to makes meaningful difference in the lives of others.
