DJ Switch Rages As FG Charges Pregnant Hunger Protester, Others With Treason

#EndSars Heroine, Obianuju Catherine Udeh, professionally known as DJ Switch, has kicked after the Federal Government charged the August Hunger Protesters with treason.

The Federal High Court in Abuja, had on Monday, ordered the prison remand of 10 activists arrested in connection with the recent hunger protest in the country, Punch reported.

Justice Emeka Nwite had ordered that the defendants, including a pregnant woman, Angel Innocent, be remanded in Kuje and Suleja correctional centres till September 11 for the hearing of their bail applications.

Apart from Innocent, who claimed to be pregnant, the other defendants were Michael Adaramoye, alias Lenin; Adeyemi Abayomi, Suleiman Yakubu, Opaluwa Simon, Buhari Lawal, Mosiu Sadiq, Bashir Bello, Nuradeen Khakis and Abdusalam Zubairu.

Reacting to the development via her Official X account, she expressed dismay over the silence on the development. 

DJ Switch wrote, “#EndBadGovernance protesters are being charged with treason and there is no OUTRAGE???? For what???? 

“The penalty for treason is death and we are just what…? Moving on? Just like we are moving on with everything? PIDOM is languishing in the hands of these wizards and we are not OUTRAGED???
