Simi, Adekunle Gold Get Deadline To Shift Focus From Romance To Music

Nigerian music couple, Simisola (popularly known as Simi) and her husband Adekunle Gold, have been called out by popular content creator, Naijashimadun, over their frequent public display of affection.

In a video posted on his Instagram page, Naijashimadun criticized the couple, urging them to tone down their public romantic gestures.

He stated that the couple should end their frequent romantic outings by the end of this week and focus on their music careers from next Monday. He suggested that Simi should go to the studio and work on new music, while Adekunle Gold should also concentrate on his musical projects.

Naijashimadun also pointed out that Simi and Adekunle have a young child, and he believes Simi should spend more time taking care of their daughter, especially with school resumption at hand. He emphasized that Simi needs to prepare their child for school and provide everything she needs, while Adekunle should focus on his studio work and stop interrupting Simi’s performances.

He humorously mentioned that during Simi’s stage performances, Adekunle often appears unexpectedly with flowers, which he believes disrupts her concentration and affects the quality of her performances. He argued that this behavior deprives the audience of fully enjoying what they paid for.

Naijashimadun added that while Valentine’s Day is celebrated once a year, the couple seems to celebrate it every day with their public displays of affection. He urged them to shift their focus back to their music careers as December approaches, highlighting that fans are eagerly waiting for new music to dance to during the festive season.
